Attended this restaurant on New Year’s Eve. Place was extremely busy but staff were able to accommodate dine-in and pick-up orders with great effort. Staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, and conscientious. Server “Ryan” was outstanding. Pizza was delicious, meatballs were also great. So glad this place was recommended to us by a local.
Stopped by around halloween 2 months ago and ordered a braised short rib and plain cheese pizza with pesto. Pizza looked amazing and tasted great, crust was good and everyone enjoyed it. Great place to sit outside and people watch while you enioy a relaxed atmosphere. Will return to try another round sometime soon.
The food is amazing. Started with a generous portion of Caesar Salad very flavorful dresses and mixed well, wonderful crunchy texture from the greens to the garlic breadcrumbs, thought I tasted a hint of mustard which was a nice spice, but not sure it had it might have been the breadcrumbs. Ordered the Hwy 1 pizza, had a great variety and amount of toppings and can definitely taste the fresh ingredients topped with that light char of the dough from the oven. Ended lunch with a delicious, creamy and light Banana Walnut Crumble for dessert, it was a marry between banana bread and banana pudding. Service was wonderful, even with all staff making sure they were attentive to dining,walk-in and to-go guest,delivering orders,arranging tableware, we were never unattended, never went without refills on beverages or clean plates and napkins for each course. Noise was mild and comfortable Had a great experience Parking was a little difficult but this place was worth it. Definitely has one of my highest recommendations and will be coming back!
A diamond in the rough kinda find for us while visiting Dana point. Showed up in the evening and there was a little bit of a wait since this place is really popular. We got seated and were greeted by our server, who was personable and friendly. I recommend you go half/half - half stingray half Hwy 1 what a great combo if you can't decide! Make sure you end the night with the delicious tiramisu!
This place is AMAZING 🤩! We got pizza to go & recommendations on what pizza to get from locals. Pizza “The Bee Sting” and a Cesar salad for $24 was great! Met the owner he was very friendly!
Delicious salad & pizza, super nice servers!!! It was a wait to get in but it was worth it. We had gotten the simple salad and then a half&half pizza with the Stingray and Vampire. If you like spicy things, the pepper blend on the table is so good with the Vampire pizza!! We didn't end up finishing our pizza and our server boxed it up for us and even gave us extra plates, napkins and utensils when we requested just for extra plates!!
We feel very fortunate that we met this lovely couple who told us to come here. We did. They weren’t kidding when they said it was the absolute best pizza/salad we would ever have. They were right. The salad had so many flavors. The pizza, the crust, cooked to perfection. Thin, not heavy. The cheese, like it just came off the cheese wheel and the pepperoni so tasty and so fresh. Kendra took such great care of us. Superior employees make for a successful restaurant. We can’t wait to come back.
We are visiting the area for a week as a family and stopped here for our first dinner, and we will definitely be back during this week for a second time. Excellent food-rich flavors, you can tell that they care about the product. The owners have a presence at the restaurant and their dedication is experienced in the atmosphere and with every bite. The Zucchini Chips appetizer was light and so addicting. The hummus was rich and yet light at the same time, Rich many flavors and full flavor. And then the pizza! Crust is perfection. The creative pizzas are amazing. My wife stated that it’s the best pizza she’s ever had. My daughter said “it’s bustin!” Sorry, I only took a picture of the hummus because it was so awesome but then the food was so delightful that I forgot to take any more pictures.
One of the best slices Ive had in a while. For sure best pizza hands down in the area. Super quality. Fritto misto is suprisingly light with a great mix of veggies and seafood. The aranchini are delicous. The Bee Sting will not disappoint if you are into sweet, spicy and savory youre in for a treat the fresh burrata is a nice touch to tame the flavors making it just right. Good portions and some of the best staff.
Came here after seeing some reviews .. I love a good thin. Rust pizza and this spot did not disappoint. Luckily we arrived during lunch time on a weekday and there was no wait ! The staff is super friendly and helpful . They have so many choices to choose from . We went with the mushroom and the burratta pizza . The hot honey has a kick and the pizza was cooked to perfection! Great flavors thin and crunchy and the Caesar salad was soooo yummy !!!😋
